Tashkent University of Technology (ToshTech) is a newly established, internationally oriented technical university in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, offering engineering education in partnership with leading international institutions. The University invites applications from qualified candidates for the following full-time faculty position.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will lead a Project-Based Learning (PBL) course introducing first-year students to engineering design thinking, teamwork, and the engineering profession. The position also includes course preparation, student mentoring, assessment, and participation in departmental and university activities.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience in Engineering
• Demonstrated experience with Project-Based Learning (PBL) pedagogy
• Strong mentoring and facilitation skills for team-based student projects

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory sessions as required by the course
• Develop syllabi, assessments, and course materials aligned with program learning outcomes
• Advise and mentor students; hold regular office hours
• Engage in curriculum development, departmental service, and continuous improvement of teaching quality
• Contribute to the University's research and academic community where applicable
